Anpario

Anpario is an international producer and distributor of natural animal feed additives. Their high-performance products are helping to feed a growing population in a world with finite resources.

As a global innovator, Anpario has over 30 years in business, exports to over 70 countries and has offices all over the world. And, 99% of their manufacturing is delivered from a single site in Nottingham.

Anpario has worked with Datel since 2016 and since then the partnership has delivered an implementation of Sage X3, upgrades and optimisation of the solution, and strategic enhancements to improve efficiency, automation and productivity gains.

Strategic support services from Datel

Anpario relies on Datel's Manage service that provides the business with an outsourced System Manager function for Sage X3. 

The Manage service has helped to reduce the task load of the IT function and has also benefitted them through access to expertise and advice when required.

For Simon Hirst, Business Systems Analyst, the service allows him to expand his knowledge, “The Datel team won’t just quickly sort something, they’ll take the time to explain how to do it ourselves so that should that query come up again, it's something that we potentially can solve."

Continued global expansion

Anpario has big aspirations and has continued its global expansion, opening new operations in Europe and investing further in production automation. Much of the manufacturing is automated, and remote working is easy thanks to secure cloud systems in place.

When the group upgraded to the latest version of Sage X3 they were excited about testing out the system’s capabilities.

For Phil Holland, IT Manager, the timing of the upgrade was just right. “Sage X3 v12 has production management functionality and allows for multiple handheld devices which I'm keen to test out once we are settled in.”
