Order Processing Administrator

We are looking for a Order Processing Administrator to join our team.

Location: Hybrid

Job details

As an Order Processing Administrator, you will work closely with Datel's Suppliers, Sales Teams and Project Management Teams to ensure orders are processed and managed in line with Datel's standards.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end to end flow of customer and supplier orders with care, accuracy and professionalism. You will work closely with colleagues across Datel to ensure orders are processed correctly and invoices are raised on time, contributing to smooth business operations and high levels of customer confidence.

Your day to day responsibilities will include managing customer purchase orders and sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is correctly recorded within our CRM and finance systems and in line with Datel’s processes and policies. You will oversee sales and purchase invoicing, working collaboratively with sales, project management and finance teams to resolve queries or discrepancies when they arise.

You will also raise supplier purchase orders and authorise supplier purchase invoices, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail throughout. A key part of the role involves advising and guiding both internal and external stakeholders on order management processes, ensuring consistency, compliance and clarity at all times.

This is a fast paced environment, particularly around month end, quarter end and year end, and you will play an important role in keeping things running smoothly during these critical periods.

What to bring

You will bring 3-5 years’ experience in order management or a closely related role, with a proven ability to work accurately and confidently in a high volume environment. Experience within a similar industry would be an advantage, though not essential.

You will be comfortable using CRM systems and finance platforms, with Sage knowledge considered beneficial. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook, is essential.

You will have excellent communication skills, with the confidence to work effectively with both internal colleagues and external stakeholders. You will be naturally detail oriented, well organised and able to prioritise effectively under time pressure. A problem solving mindset and a genuine customer first approach are essential, alongside sound judgement and professionalism.

You will be comfortable working independently when required, as well as collaboratively as part of a wider team, whether working remotely or in the office. You will handle information with care and confidentiality and take accountability for delivering high quality work.

All offers of employment with Datel are subject to a Right to Work Check.
