Software Developer

As an experienced Full-Stack Developer, you will play a key role in enhancing and maintaining our Fusion products for Sage, starting with our extremely successful Excel Connect product.

Your primary focus will be on both developing new functionality for the application and also ensuring that our users get the best experience by helping to remove any issues. You will do this using C# with the application being deployed to a combination of on-premise infrastructure (through our consultancy team), and cloud deployment. Working within a fast-paced software development life cycle and an AGILE framework, you will collaborate with teams to deliver high-quality, iterative improvements that meet evolving user needs.

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring proven expertise in C# full-stack development, with a strong focus on back-end services, especially the use of APIs and web services. Additionally, some experience of developing for MS Office (especially VSTO), would be advantageous, as would building ASP.NET applications, working with .NET Framework 4.6+ and .NET 6+. You should also have a collaborative mindset, the ability to solve complex problems, and a commitment to maintaining, supporting, and documenting the applications you develop.

You should have a solid understanding of modern development practices, web service integration, and ideally, experience developing for financial systems or Sage products. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively are essential.
