We're looking for a Workplace Co-ordinator Apprentice to join our team.
Location: Warrington
As a Workplace Co-ordinator Apprentice, you will support the smooth day-to-day running of Datel’s workspace, helping create a safe, welcoming and well-organised environment.
You will help ensure our workspace is safe, welcoming and well organised for everyone who works here and visits us. You will support day to day facilities activity including coordinating contractors, arranging maintenance, managing supplies, and responding to queries from colleagues.
You will help us prepare for events, Connect Days and on site activities, and you will get involved in health and safety processes so you can build confidence in areas such as DSE, risk assessments and workplace compliance.
Alongside this, you will spend time learning how facilities management operates within a dynamic, growing business like Datel, gradually taking on more responsibility as your skills and knowledge increase.
You will bring a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in how workplaces function. You will have the confidence to speak to colleagues, contractors and visitors, and you will enjoy being someone others can rely on. You will be organised, proactive and comfortable managing different tasks throughout the day.
You don’t need previous facilities experience – what matters most is your commitment to your apprenticeship, your desire to build practical skills and your ability to work well as part of a team. If you like variety, enjoy solving problems and take pride in helping others, you will thrive in this role.
You will be welcomed into an experienced and supportive People & Workplace team where learning is part of everyday life. At Datel, you will gain hands on experience in a real working environment, working alongside colleagues who are invested in your development and success. You will have the opportunity to complete your Level 3 Facilities Management Supervisor apprenticeship with protected learning time and guidance throughout.
You will be part of a culture that values wellbeing, continuous improvement and doing the right thing for our people. In return for your commitment, we offer a friendly workplace, opportunities to grow professionally and the chance to build a meaningful career with us.
Datel is a successful tech and services business that is here to help you to achieve your full potential. Potential is more than just a word to us, it’s our purpose.
We help our customers realise their ambitions through creative Sage solutions. And every member of the Datel team is encouraged to thrive by providing the support and broadest possible opportunities, within an aspirational, accessible, inclusive, and progressive culture.
You’ll be joining a highly skilled and collaborative People team that is focused on quality and integrity, contributing to Datel’s success. You’ll be joining the team due to business growth, so you’ll have the support of others in the team.
You’ll report into and work closely with the People Potential Manager, Janet, and work collaboratively with our People Success Wellbeing Advisor, John. As well as the rest of the People team which is made up of a People Success Manager, People Success Co-ordinator, People Services Administrator, and our Payroll Co-ordinator.
We listen and want you to contribute to our future alongside contributing to yours – we regularly ask for your input and offer learning and development opportunities to build your knowledge and skills. We love to get together and have a calendar of social events to build connection and collaboration across the team. We also care about our community and work closely with Sage’s Foundation offering charity and volunteering opportunities throughout the year.
