Definitions

- Human Trafficking: The recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring, or receipt of persons by improper means for exploitation.
Your Responsibilities
Compliance and Awareness
- You are expected to be vigilant in identifying any signs of modern slavery or trafficking at Datel, and when dealing with third parties (customers, or business partners etc).
Reporting Concerns
- You have a duty to report any suspicions of modern slavery. Reports can be made to your line manager, The People Team, or to a Director.
- You will be protected from retaliation when reporting genuine concerns.
Due Diligence
- If you’re working with a customer, a supplier, or business partner, you must complete due diligence checks and ensure that their business practices align with this policy.

Customer and Partner Accountability
- Datel’s customers, suppliers, and business partners will be required to confirm their adherence to anti-slavery practices. Datel reserves the right to terminate relationships with those who fail to meet these standards.

- Breaching this policy, whether through direct involvement in modern slavery or failure to report suspicions, may result in disciplinary action, including dismissal or termination of contracts.
