  • Compare operational statistics with financial metrics. Check summary roll-up figures for multiple entities—even if it’s only mid-month.
  • Get granular transparency instantly. Flag trends and spot exceptions with powerful report visualisations.
  • Interactive custom report writer lets you easily create real-time reports to tackle unique financial reporting needs.

  • "Tag" transactions, as well as operational data, with dimension values.
  • After creating a dimension, use it for any transaction—intelligent general ledger, receivables, payables, time, revenue management, fixed assets, and more.
  • As your business changes, add the dimensions you need to easily track what's important to your business.

How secure is Sage Intacct?

We understand that moving to a cloud-based financial management solution comes with risk. One of the most common questions customers ask us is about cloud security. Moving your data off-premises for the first time requires a high level of trust and reassurance. Fortunately, one of the reasons we champion Sage Intacct is because of Sage’s commitment to security, which aligns with our values of customer peace of mind.

The Sage Intacct team includes dedicated, seasoned, and certified (CISSP) Information Security professionals responsible for developing and driving Sage Intacct’s security programme. The programme encompasses the physical and logical security of the Sage Intacct application and infrastructure and its internal IT systems. Datel's implementation approach and integration expertise ensure that any connections and integrations to your core Sage Intacct platform are delivered to the highest security standards.

In addition, Sage Intacct is certified for and meets the requirements of world-leading standards and regulations.

How secure is Sage Intacct

How Sage Intacct keeps your data safe

Regular security tests

Sage Intacct undergoes tests every quarter to ensure your data is secure and safe from bad actors.

Real-time monitoring and status updates

Firewall logs and remote access activity, proactively monitoring for inconsistencies.

Access control

Sage Intacct controls physical access to its data centres, limiting access to hard records and corporate data systems. They’re subject to CCTV, man-traps, and biometrics controls (and more!)

Commercial-grade antivirus software

All systems that access, store, or process customer data or other sensitive information are equipped with antivirus software.

Data loss prevention

Sage Intacct executes daily backups to multiple global locations, continuous transaction data backups, and secure transaction data streaming to remote recovery centres.

Disaster recovery

After a disaster, Sage Intacct provides complete data recovery within 24 hours of a major incident.

Customisable security controls

Set your own password rules for and create inactivity time-outs. You can set granular role-based permissions to limit data access and monitor account activity.

Sage Intacct pricing

Sage Intacct is licensed on a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model. It includes hosting, core software functionality, and access to quarterly system upgrades that are automatically rolled out at no extra cost. But, since Sage Intacct is designed to fit perfectly with your business, pricing is often bespoke – you pay for what you need and are billed annually.

Modules, number of users, user access levels, integrations, and the scale and complexity of your implementation all influence the cost of your solution. That's why it's crucial to work with a Sage Intacct partner that understands your business and your goals.

Sage Intacct implementation takes as little as 8 weeks and our customers typically see a return on their investment within 6 months of go-live.

“Ask why you are making the journey, because a new technology implementation should be valued on its impacts – to the business, management and the finance team who are actually doing the day-to-day work. We conducted a stakeholder analysis to understand how our people would be impacted by the change; and we looked at how we could evolve their roles during the journey, so that the business could be more streamlined, but also so that our finance users would have more enriched jobs. It’s key to think about your people throughout the transition process.”

Sage Intacct implementation roadmap

01

Understanding your business goals and aspirations

At the very start of your journey, it’s essential that we fully understand the needs of your business. One of our dedicated New Business Consultants will meet with you to listen to your business objectives and learn what you want to achieve with a new system. We’ll then showcase the appropriate Sage solutions and show you how they could work for your business, enabling you to evaluate the features and functionality that are important to you.

02

Tailoring Sage Intacct to align to your business

Should you find Sage Intacct to be the right fit for you, we’ll scope and build a complete specification of your Sage Intacct solution. This process will include one of our Sage Intacct Consultants assessing your requirements and outlining any specific configurations or integrations necessary to meet your needs. The specification will be captured in a document and presented to you for feedback and approval, becoming the blueprint for your implementation.

03

Project managed implementation

One of our APM accredited Customer Engagement Managers will work with you throughout the full implementation journey. During this time, Datel’s Sage Intacct consultants and R&D Team will build the solution and any specific configurations defined. Also, for a bit of extra reassurance, one of our Directors will sponsor your project to ensure that we deliver it to your measures of success. Once we've built your solution, we train your users, complete your test plans, and migrate your data into the solution. You’ll then be ready to go live and enjoy the benefits of your new Sage Intacct solution.
