Our Support team are looking for a Support Technical Engineer to join them.

What You'll Do

Datel provides implementation and support services for over 900 customers using Sage solutions, maintaining critical connections and ensuring smooth operations. Our virtual environments are essential for internal testing and customer connectivity, managed meticulously to minimize disruptions and uphold security standards. The Technical Support team conducts regular checks, manages credentials, and maintains remote connections to prevent issues. Monitoring server health daily includes analysing CPU, disk, memory, and SQL outputs, predicting future issues, and projecting data growth impacts.

What To Bring

This technical role encompasses a broad range of skills, with training provided as necessary. As such, applicants of varied experience levels would be welcomed with a proactive attitude towards learning and skill acquisition being key.

Ideal candidates should possess several of the following competencies: familiarity with networks and VPNs, proficiency in Windows-based operating systems, understanding of SQL Server with the ability to write SQL statements.

Advantageous skills include knowledge of Powershell, proficiency in programming languages, and experience working with VMWare ESXi. Successful candidates will demonstrate enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a willingness to continuously expand their expertise.

You’ll work daily with a close-knit Technical Support team that operate on a hybrid working basis and regularly engage using MS Teams. Daily support and relevant training will be provided to allow you to achieve success.
