A finance system to match Knight Protection’s growth

Knight Protection has expanded rapidly in recent years, organically increasing turnover from £12M in 2020 to over £23M by 2025. CEO Tim Knight strengthened the management team to support this growth, appointing Andrew Joseph as Finance Director in 2023 to overhaul financial processes and prepare the business for future growth and investment.

When Andrew joined, he inherited a strained finance department, delayed reporting, and a backlog of unprocessed direct debits. It quickly became clear that Sage 50 could not provide the automation, reporting power, or scalability required. Andrew set about building a strategic finance function and finding a system fit for the company’s ambitious future.
