As a Creative Campaign Manager, you'll be responsible for the inception and creation of a range of marketing campaigns that build trust in Datel, generate growth opportunities, add value to customers, and attract and retain talent.

What you’ll do

As Creative Campaign Manager at Datel you’ll be responsible for the inception, creative ideas, planning and writing of a range of marketing campaigns that build trust in Datel as a brand, generate growth opportunities, add value to customers and attract and retain talent.  

You'll have planning and creative responsibility for a range of Datel's multi-channel, audience focused marketing campaigns. You’ll immerse yourself into each audience to understand what will engage and resonate with them, keep abreast of competitors and look for opportunities to deliver results.  You’ll design and write multi-channel campaigns with the aim to maximise engagement, communicating who we are and what we offer to our customers and our people. You’ll conceptualise and create the campaign structure, themes and written content and work in collaboration with Datel’s Content Manager, third party agencies and others within the marketing team on creating video, visual and digital aspects of the campaign.  You’ll work alongside and collaboratively with the Brand and Campaign Manager and Marketing Director on larger campaigns and to ensure campaigns are representing the brand in the right way.

You’ll write campaign briefs and content and communicate the campaign design and delivery schedule for the campaigns you create with the rest of the team. You’ll work with the Digital Marketing Manager and Programmes Manager to plan delivery schedules and ensure campaigns are created in full, ready for execution by the delivery team, ensuring that stakeholders involved are well informed and on message.  You’ll work closely with the other marketing managers to review results and feedback, form conclusions and strive to continually improve campaigns to maximise results. 

You’ll be supported by the Marketing Director and wider executive team to ensure that the campaigns continue to support Datel’s growth aspirations and generate results.

Daily duties include;

  • Development of campaign themes and briefs, testing concepts and facilitating feedback.
  • Conceptualising, designing and writing compelling content for internal and external audiences to support campaign objectives and themes, including and not limited to social media posts, e-shots, articles, blogs, infographics, events and scripts for video content.
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high quality campaign activity.
  • Monitoring and analysing campaign performance, working closely with the Marketing Director and marketing managers to respond to results during each campaign and in planning the next.  
  • Managing and reporting on budget usage and return on investment across all  campaign activity executed.
  • Working closely with the rest of the marketing team, sales team and wider business.
What you’ll bring

Ideally from an agency background, you’ll bring experience of creating, designing and writing B2B and B2C campaigns that deliver desired outcomes and resonate with audiences. Most of all, we are looking for someone who is dynamic, tenacious and not afraid to take ownership for the planning and creative direction of our campaigns. We are looking for someone that will really hit the ground running and won’t be afraid to problem solve, share their ideas and utilise their experience to deliver results.

You’ll bring a growth mindset backed up by a good understanding of B2B marketing to enable you to plan and create the campaigns. Fantastic communication skills will mean you can collaborate and challenge the marketing team and key stakeholders, communicate campaign concepts, designs and justifications and reflect on results with colleagues to feed learning and future action. Creative talent, good writing skills and a keen eye for quality will be required to ensure we deliver campaigns that catch our audiences’ attention and drive them to action.

Tech marketing experience is desirable and an awareness and interest in the latest marketing tools, technology and channels is essential for success. An authentic approach to work is a must to join our trusted, open and authentic team culture.

You’ll report into and work closely with the Marketing Director and work collaboratively with the rest of the marketing team which is made up of a Brand and Campaign Manager, a Content Manager and Apprentice Content Creator, a Marketing Programmes Manager, a Digital Marketing Manager and a Digital Marketing Executive. You’ll also have support and interaction with the wider team at Datel including the Executive team and the sales function.  

We have a hybrid approach to working - you’ll have the autonomy to choose where you want to work to get the job done alongside regular planned in-person interaction with the marketing team and wider business at our Warrington office.
